Chasing Nothing, Everything or Something.

A man of vision is one who makes the hardest decisions that most at time look stupid to the narrow minded people but often end up benefiting the world. No matter how good you think you have done something, there is always a better way of doing it. Men with no purpose settle with the least they can get from life but men with strong purpose are never satisfy with what life has to offer, they are never tired of looking for ways to make their better the very best.

I notice one thing about fulfilled men, when they die, they often die with a smiling cheek ( no matter how young or old they may be.), then, those who die unfulfilled often die with their mouth open wide like they are asking themselves why, why was I born, why did I live they way I did, why did I have to go so soon, why are they crying, why, why and why? You can choose whether you want to die with a smiling cheek or you want to die with your mouth open wide today, by choosing to either chase Nothing, Everything or Something

Let me help you make a choice, those who choose to chase nothing are those who often live and die the way they were born (quietly). They live on other people, they work to have their daily bread, they settle with anything life or someone gives to them; they are always afraid of independence, and prefer dying as a dependent. More so, they never inspire their offspring or the young ones around them to strive for greatness.
You will always find them around people like them smoking, drinking, walking around like flies looking for a waste to prey on. These people don’t believe in legacy, they don’t care about life after death, they are very poor mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Since these set of people don’t have a sense of purpose, they are easily manipulated and used as tools by others. Before I forget, they are addicted pessimist and hardly can they form their own opinion, they go with what they can get a cup of hot drink from not minding the outcome on the long run.

Those who chase everything, are those who are so desperate to become or stay relevant or often strive to please others to their own detriment or please everybody for self honour.

These set of people never see out their time, they are always everywhere and they want to be everything, they are jack of all trade, master of none, they are always seeking for a better paying job and career, they are never tired of submitting job applications and attending job interviews, they are always thinking of what they can get from life, from bosses, from friends, from God, even from their immediate families; and they barely think of what they can offer.

These set of people often end up in frustration, rejection, disappointment, regrets and grieve, because they will grow old to realize or believe that life is not fair to those who are “hard working” like them; or the will end up with the assumptions that life and her struggles are worthless, people are wicked, no helpers in this world, no sense in prayers, and even that God is also wicked and partial.

Mind you, you can be lucky enough to be chasing everything and end up with something or unlucky to end up with nothing. You may end up with something to raise a family, give to some relatives, build a decent house, drive some decent cars and then throw in the towel on life, awaiting your offspring to do what you couldn't do, some will even hope that their offspring will help them to realize the dream they have failed to realize. This luck never take them too far, at most, it will drop them in the middle class and when they are dead, they are only remembered by their immediate families ( mostly during conflicts within the home or when their family are in want, a want they could have satisfied if alive.)

Then those who chase something, they are the visionaries, the great thinkers, men that like challenges, they love competitions, they are risk takers, they are realistic and tall dreamers, they dare and step on toes without looking at  faces, they never allow anything to stand on their ways, they are go getters, mission founders, they never give up.

Once they believe that this is it, this is their purpose in life, their reason of existence, their gift and God ordained destiny, they never look back on it, they pick it up, sharpen it as best as they can with any available resources and they run with it. Their thoughts are never self centred, they think and plan for the world, they find people with like minds to work with as their vision carriers and even partners, they are addicted to self development and they are not driven by material possessions or praises and criticism of men, but they are driven by their conscience and the happiness of mankind. These set of people are always criticized, hated, discouraged, abused and looked down on in the beginning but at the very end of their journey, they are honoured, praised, called great names and the best of all ” THEY ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN”

Now, I’m sure you know the category you have fallen into, I’m sure you should as far as you are above 18 years old. If you feel you don’t belong to any of these categories then you should know the one you are gradually driving yourself into because as they say, your destiny is in your hands, it’s truly in your hands. The God that created you has given you the power to choose the kind of life you want to live, and He has planted in each and everyone of us a unique purpose, He has also given us the willpower to accomplish it.

The first thing you have to do is to realise what that purpose is by asking yourself some basic questions like,
(1) Why I mine in this world?
(2) what makes me different?
(3) where is my passion?
(4) who I mine looking up to and who can I say I’m?
(5) what will they remember me for when I’m gone?
(6) what can I do best and what gives me the highest amount of happiness?
(7) after this world what next?
Congratulations, if you have found answers to the above questions because you have just found your purpose in life, go and develop it and start running with it.. See you at the very top. Be inspired!
